The surfaces were tacky , and a nauseating aroma of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets filled the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , decay and illness . The bar area , which should be the focal point of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and litter that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The restroom was in even worse condition — backed up, with a snapped lever and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
